We offer a variety of services; CNC milling (wood and aluminium), 3D carving, 3D printing, laser cutting & engraving, aluminium welding, sheet metal fabrication, spray painting and providing design/technical consultancy.
At Embrace Design we are determined to maintain perfection in products manufactured by us and provide excellent customer service. We also pride ourselves on understanding the needs and limitations that both designers and students face. We take enjoyment from working with complicated and intricate designs. No matter how small or large the project is, we aim to use our expertise and passion to help students and designers alike.
Fabrication Consultation Service
I am available to provide my expertise and personal knowledge on manufacturing, design prototyping while also discussing a cost analysis with clients in a face-to-face meeting at my workshop in Wellington or an email dialogue.

INTERNSHIP WITH EMBRACE DESIGN
At Embrace Design we know how important it is to get experience in your craft to develop your skills. We offer internships to Tertiary students studying in creative fields.
Internships are not paid. We exchange our knowledge for your help in the work shop. Some tasks that will be asked of you may include:
Sanding, cleaning 3D prints, moving materials around, breaking down plastic bottles for shredding, digital design and spray painting. Depending on experience you may also be asked to help at events that we go to.
In Exchange for these tasks we will have you involved with honing your skills in digital design, programming and using machines that are relevant to your study including a CNC Mill, 3D printers and laser cutters. You will also be set up in our workshop, the hub of our business. You will see how we promote our selves, how we interact with customers and their orders and how we run our own business.
It is good for students who need to get experience in a work environment and see how they can develop their own ideas of introducing their art or business to the market. We will look at all applications but spaces are limited. We will need to see a portfolio of work to ensure that your field is something that we can help with. You must be proactive, hands on and punctual.

3D Printing Service
At Embrace Design we have a range of options to suit your printing needs.
Whether it is prototyping or finished products, we will provide excellent care and precision bringing your projects to the physical world.We have done small scale school projects to large scale company printing.
Our FDM /Plastic print sizes(X/Y/Z) vary from 10mm x 10mm x 10mm to 500mm x 500mm x 600mm
Our DLP Resin print size(X/Y/Z) is from 2mm x 2mm x 2mm to 115mm x 65mm x 155mm
Colours available include red, blue, green, orange, black, purple, brown, opaque, terracotta, yellow and grey.

Laser Cutting And Engraving Service
We provide Clients with professional and clean cutting and engraving work. We can engrave on a variety of materials including wood and glass. Below you will find the specifications of the laser we use and compatible materials.
The bed size of our laser engravers is;
600x900mm
Materials we can engrave:
Glass
Wood
Acrylic
Metal - Prepainted, when we engrave it exposes the metal surface below.
OR
We now use Brilliance lasermark, which creates a permanent black marking on metal surfaces.
Materials that we can engrave with Laser Mark:
Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Brass, Copper, Titanium.
Please note, we do not engrave or cut leather.
Materials we can cut:
Acrylic - up to 10mm
Cardboard - up to 20mm
Woods - up to 10mm
MDF - up to 10mm
If a wood or cardboard is thicker we would do it on our CNC.
CNC Milling Service
With our CNC almost anything is possible. Whether it is prototyping or finished products, we will provide excellent care and precision bringing your projects to the physical world.

- Plywood and MDF sheets of any type can be cut and/or engraved max 70mm thick and a size of 1250 x 1250es here
